Upcoming Shows–Updates!!

Summer is almost gone and we are gearing up for our next exhibition, 50 Artists, 50 States, 50 Mediums. One artist from each state will represent a different medium in the art, craft, and design fields. The show starts on September 22nd with the opening reception on September 26th, from 5:30-10:00 pm. We hope to see you there for this exciting show which runs through December.

Looking into 2010–which will be here before we know it–we are starting to accept submissions for Ethereal Views–Environments in Contemporary Art. This will be a curated, group exhibition of artists working in defining ethereal environments. Artwork will be characterized by one or more qualities of lightness, insubstantiality, intangibility, delicateness, of the celestial spheres, heavenly, not of this world, or spiritual while reflecting some kind of real or invented environment.

Artists so far include Kate Merritt Davis (painting) and Kiera L. Faber. (film)

Several additional artists of various mediums will be accepted for this show, which runs January-March 2010. If interested, email 5-10 images along with an artist statement/bio to sarah@theeclipsegallery.com
